Trainer Bio

Lamont Nash has been a certified personal trainer for over ten years. Lamont moved to CA from Detroit in 2005 and began working for The GAP until 2008 when he created the 1st annual Central Valley's Greatest Loser. Lamont wanted to do something for the entire community and was inspired by the Biggest Loser to create this 12 week weight loss competition. Lamont is currently the health and fitness director at Break the Barriers which also hosted the first Greatest Loser kick off. He also holds fitness classes at his church six days a week. He is very passionate about health and fitness and pushes his clients to always do their best.

Born and raised in the south Valley and originally from Visalia, Ca and now residing in Lindsay, Ca. Tony has tought group fitness all over California, and has been a itness enthusiast for over 20 years from Los Angeles to San Francisco and all around the San Juaquin Valley. In 1996 Tony began professionally teaching Cardio kickbox and studying Tae Kwon Do with the world renown Ernie Reyes' West Coast Karate Association in Campbell, Ca. For the next 16 years Tony has been an active force in the fitness industry, personal training and teaching a wide range of fitness formats ranging from kickbox, sculpt, dance, aquatics, and now one of the newest and hottest workouts around, R.I.P.P.E.D. THE ONE STOP BODY SHOCK.

 

Tony enjoys dancing, spending time with family, drawing, painting and being around others who share the same passions he does, making a difference in people's lives. Now a days you will find Tony teaching at the Visalia YMCA and soon in Woodlake, Ca, In-Shape City, the Visalia Park & Recreation and GB3 in Fresno, Ca. Tony holds certifications for IFA, ISSA & R.I.P.P.E.D.

I'm a speicalist about the human body and Looking to help others to reach their fitness goals. A little background of myself I was always a chubby kid in high school. Then I decided to make a change for myself and decided to join the high school football team and ever since then I fell in love with sports and staying in fit.

Trainer Bio 

Sensei Day is a 7th Degree Black Belt with a background in various styles (Goju Ryu, Shotokan, Shito Ryu, Ju Aiki Do, Tang Soo Do, and Taekwando); however, his main style is Goju Ryu Okinawan Karate-Do.  He is the founder of Day's Karate School. Sensei Day has over 30 years of experience and is recognized as a humble, strong, and dedicated instructor in Goju Ryu.


Between Jun 1990 - September 1993 ast the cheif instructor on board the USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) he won over 25 National and 8 International Gold Medals.  He also coached the USS Kitty Hawk Fighting Team in competitions in Saint Thomas,  The Virgin Island, South America, Pacific Rim Cup Challenge, Singapore, Hong Kong, Puerto Rico, Malaysia, Guam, and Japan.
